Basic Newborn- 2-3 hours

FAQ
I heard that you have a selection of Maternity Dresses to choose from, is that correct?
YES! I have NEBRASKA'S LARGEST MATERNITY CLIENT CLOSET! I have over 545 dresses, gowns, and outfits to choose from for your maternity photo session, even a large variety of costume jewelry and props! ' I have MANY styles and colors to choose from in sizes XS to 5X. I even have floral bikini's in 8 colors! (how daring are you!?!?) There is NO EXTRA charge to wear my dresses. Once your deposit is paid for your session, we can set up a time for you to come over to try on dresses, or if you prefer we can extend your session by 30 minutes to give you time to find that perfect dress before our session.
Can I pick more images than what my package includes?
Absolutely. Additional High Resolution, edited images are available with any package for $10 each, 5 for $40 (save $10), or 10 for $75 (Best Deal!). I will send an invoice for the additional images that is payable before the release of your final, edited images.
Do you require a deposit before my photo session?
Yes, a $50 deposit is required at the time the appointment is scheduled with the balance due one day prior to the appointment. Mini Sessions Require Full payment up front when scheduling. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are unable to make your appointment for any reason, your retainer fee will be transferred to the new appointment time as long as I am given 24 hours advance notice. Invoices are sent to your email and are payable with a credit card or PayPal. Your appointment date and time are ONLY reserved with this deposit. If the deposit is not paid within 48 hours, your appointment date and time will be forfeited.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No. My packages are delivered as High Resolution (HR) digital images with full printing rights for you to print as you wish, any size, any quantity. However you can order prints through this same website from a company that I have used for over 10 years. The prices should be very competitive with the corner drugstore and you will receive professionally printed images sent directly to you without having to leave home. My company uses Kodak Endura Archive Professional Paper and many other options are available for printing such as canvas, metal prints, and several backing options so that you don't have to buy frames!
How many proofs will I have to choose from?
During any one hour photo session (excluding newborn), I normally shoot anywhere from 50-85 images, depending on the cooperation of the subject(s). Your proofs will be emailed to you with minimal initial edits. These proofs will be available online for 14 days for you to chose your favorites, I will then edit the images that you have chosen. My final edits include color enhancements, skin blemish removal, eye color enhancement, teeth whitening, hair smoothing, skin smoothing and various other enhancements. Your final photos will be available also for 14 days to download during that time.
How long will it take to get my final images?
Please allow 4 days to receive your proofs then 14 days to receive your final images once you have chosen your favorites and notified me.
Do you provide clothes for a newborn photo shoot?
Yes! I will ask you to choose a color for your session then I will choose everything else to coordinate with that color. Many times parents want pictures to coordinate with existing color schemes in their home which is why I ask what color they want.
Can I extend the session on the day of my appointment?
Time permitting, certainly! I try not to 'stack' appointments in case one runs a little over the scheduled time.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! These are available for children under the age of 10 for birthdays, seasonal, or holidays (except Christmas). I offer a 30 minute session with 5 high resolution edited images and full printing rights for $65. Backdrop must be chosen in advance. I can text you pictures of the available backdrops for the season or holiday that you are wanting. Full payment is required at the time of scheduling.
What is a Client Closet?
My client closet consists of LOTS of outfits for your children to wear for pictures, even dress shirts for your husband! Check with me before you purchase clothes for pictures. I have many outfits that go with themed backdrops for birthdays or special occasions, including a large rack of chunky jewelry for little girls! I have pictures of the majority of outfits with sizes on my phone so just ask me! I even have some kids' shoes.
Do you do hair and makeup?
No, so please make sure that your hair and makeup are ready for your session when you arrive. If you want makeup added during post-processing (eyelashes, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, eyebrows) $5 will be added to each image and payable before you receive your final images.
Can I purchase images that have not been edited?
NO. I do not and will not release or sell unedited or RAW images under any circumstances. Creative rights belong to the photographer. If you do not want to have your images posted on social media or here on my website, please notify me in advance and I will not share them.
Do you have very many different backgrounds to choose from?
I currently have over 300 physical backdrops which includes seasonal and children's themes, and a large collection of digital backdrops. I am always adding new backdrops, either physically or digitally.
Do you do Weddings or Boudoir Pictures?
No to both. I would be happy to take your engagement photos but I know that many photographers offer package deals when combined with their wedding package.
What is a 'specialty set' for a newborn?
My specialty sets include outfits and props for newborns such as a prince or princess in a carriage with a castle in the background, designer clothing while your baby holds a cold coffee drink or mini-size laptop, swimsuits or bikini's while sleeping on a floatie in a 'pool' with little sunglasses on, and various other totally adorable looks that are sure to make you smile!
